Marie Griffin

Mrs. Marie Griffin of Atlanta passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2004. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and the Graydon Sunday School class. After raising her sons, Mrs. Griffin worked in Rich?s Bridal Registry at Perimeter Mall until her retirement. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, George Walker Griffin. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Greg W. & Joan Griffin of Duluth & Gary W. & Deborah Griffin of Alpharetta; sisters, Aline Jenkins of Bella Vista, AR, Virginia Patterson of Mexia, TX; brother, Max Patterson of Richardson, TX; and three grandsons, J. Brian Griffin, Brad Walker Griffin and Ash Walker Griffin. Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m. at Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Dr. Bob Bowling and Rev. Lewis Miller. Contributions may be made to Oak Grove United Methodist Church in memory of Marie Griffin. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
