Mark passed away peacefully in Lilburn, GA on Sunday night at the age of 61. Mark is survived by his children: Melissa and Husband John of Peachtree Corners, Benjamin and wife Monick of Gainesville, Melanie and husband Brandon, of Atlanta, Samantha of Atlanta, and Jeffrey of Athens. He is also survived by his father and stepmother, Guy and Dotty Crain, of The Villages, FL. Mark has two grandchildren, Marley and Reagan, and one on the way, Knox. He is also survived by Maria Crain, his sister Susan Colie and husband Peter of Roswell, sister Lori Knight, nieces Mallory and her husband Tim of Dallas, Lauren Knight, and great niece Savannah. He is preceded in death by his mother, Joanne Crain of Tucker, GA.
Mark was born on March 21, 1956 in Birmingham, Alabama to Joanne and Guy Crain. He graduated from Tucker High School in 1974. Mark married Maria Elizabeth McMullen and had 5 children. A service of remembrance is scheduled for Saturday, March 10th at A. S. Turner and Sons in Decatur, GA at 11:00 am with a reception to follow at 4331 Gunnin Road, Peachtree Corners, GA, All are welcome to attend and celebrate The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
