Martha Anglin Adkins

Martha Anglin Adkins, 96 of Decatur, GA went home to be with her Lord on Feb. 7, 2010.  She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Ralph L. Adkins.  She was an active member of Decatur Heights Baptist Church and attended Sunday school and worship services until her recent illness.  Mrs. Adkins retired from CDC in 1976.  She loved flowers and enjoyed growing and caring for her plants.  She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maggie Campbell of McRae, GA., several nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, loving friends and her caring church family.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 10th in the chapel of  A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, GA. Dr. Alan Smith will officiate.  The family will receive visitors at the funeral home beginning at 12:30 P.M. until the service.  Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
