Mrs. Martha V. Anderson, 89, of McDonough, GA died Thursday, November 12, 2009. She was born in Habersham County, GA on October 3, 1920 to Joseph A. Vandegriff and Nellie Dora Henderson Vandegriff. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Hadie M. Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Sonja Hencely and her husband Don of McDonough, Martha Jean Swanger of Stockbridge; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Zora May Eidson and her husband Dan of Decatur and Margie Nicholson of Hull, GA. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 14, 2009 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Steve Murell officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
