Mrs. Martha Powers, age 90, of Decatur died Thursday, August 14, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Benford Powers, sons, Jerry Benford Powers and James Kendall Powers. She is survived by her great nephews, Steve McCurry of Smyrna, GA, Scott McCurry, and Andy McCurry, both of Sarasota, FL; and great niece, Raegan Ferguson of Atlanta, GA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 21 at 11:00 A. M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment Floral HillsMemoryGardens. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
