Martha Louise Rampley passed away August 29, 2011 in Houston, Texas. Born in Carnesville, Georgia, Martha attended the University of Georgia, was a life-long member of the Baptist church and worked for Southern Bell in Atlanta for over thirty years. After many years in Decatur, she married and moved to Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis A. Rumph; her parents, Brandon H. Rampley and Erma Gay Rampley; and her beloved aunt, Elizabeth McEntire. She is survived by her cousins, Chandler
Harber of Suwanee, Georgia; Carolyn Kingsnorth of Central Point, Oregon; Bobby Rampley of Acworth, Georgia; Milton Rampley of Acworth, Georgia;
Lamar Harber of Marietta, Georgia; Carolyn Lee Rountree of Dunwoody, Georgia; Jerry Harber of Tucker, Georgia; a step-daughter, Laurie Borski of
Houston, TX, and numerous members of the Rampley and McEntire families. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 6th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at
A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N Decatur Road, Decatur, Georgia. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 7th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at A.S.
Turner & Sons. A graveside ceremony will follow at 3:00 p.m.at the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery, 16144 GA 59, Carnesville, Georgia. Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Martha Louise Rampley to the First Baptist Church of Decatur, Georgia or the Crossroads Baptist
