On Thursday, February 26, 2015, Marvin A. Malicki passed away at the age of 95. He was a long-time employee of Ceco Steel Corp., where he was Asst. Sales Manager. In addition, he served as plant manager for Ceco's metal doorframe business in Valdosta, Georgia. He was born in Cicero, Illinois and was one of ten children of Joseph and Appolonia Malicki. He graduated from Morton High School and attended Illinois Institute of Technology. He left there during World War II to join the Army Air Corps in the Weather Service, serving in North Africa and Italy. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Claudine Malicki and daughter Madeline Malicki Kahn. He is survived by long-time companion Theresa Klemm, daughter Judge Catherine Malicki, and son Joseph Malicki, as well as son-in-law Dr. Joseph Kahn. In addition, he was the proud grandfather of Gabriel, Hannah, Rebekah, Jonathan, Joanna and Laura, as well as great-grandchildren Alex, Oscar, Maddie, and Jonah. He is also survived by devoted sister Sylvia Malicki, and numerous loving nephews and nieces, including especially Joanne Mlsna, and Gregg Malicki, who were constant correspondents with candy or cards.Services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at A.S. Turner and Sons funeral home, 2773 North Decatur Rd., Decatur, Ga. 30033. Visitation will begin at 1 P.M., followed by the funeral at 2P.M. at the funeral home, with burial at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3000 Lawrenceville Hwy., Tucker, Ga. 30084. A. S.
