Mary B. Post

Mary Barrett Post of Chamblee died September 19, 2004. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on November 23, 1924, and had resided in the Atlanta area for over 40 years. Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are husband, John F. Post; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Frank Leff of Alpharetta; granddaughters, Lindsay and Natalie Leff; sister, Margaret Gilreath of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; and several nieces and nephews.     She was retired from CDC and previously from Boise-Cascade Corp. Mary was a Past President of the Atlanta-Northlake Elks Auxiliary.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elks Aidmore Children?s Center, 2394 Morrison Rd., Conyers, GA 30094.
