Mrs. Mary Beth Kellogg, 72, of Decatur, died Saturday, November 27, 2010. She was born in Greenville, SC and moved to Athens, GA, then to the Morningside area of Atlanta. She graduated from Grady High School in 1956 and became over the years a member of the "Grady Girls", who meet monthly to reminisce of earlier days. Mrs. Kellogg was a world traveler, traveling abroad to Europe, Russia and China. She was an avid reader and has collected over three thousand books and novels in her home. She was a lover of all animals, particularly her beloved cats. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Dottie and Steven Hedberg of Charlotte, NC; son, Gordon Kellogg of Decatur; sister, Frances Anglin of Cumming; granddaughter, Carson Hedberg; grandson, Matthew Hedberg; niece, Marrin Maddox and husband Scott of Norcross. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to PAWS Atlanta, 5287 Covington Hwy., Decatur, GA 30035.
