Mary Cogland Chapman, age 101 of Oxford passed away January 26, 2011. Born in Grady County on November 7, 1909 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Fleeta Copland Parker. She was preceded in death by her husband William E. Chapman. Mrs. Chapman is survived by her daughter-in-law Bobby Cogland, son-in-law Billy Baskett, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 28, 2011 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Garden of Memory. The family will receive Thursday from 5-7pm at the funeral home. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033.
