Mary DiBenedetto Ewart, 84, of Atlanta, Georgia, went to be with Jesus on a beautiful Fall day, Sunday, October 9th, 2016, at home, with family around her. She was one of six children born to Pietro and Francesca DiBenedetto of Glassboro, NJ. She is preceded in death by husband Lloyd James Ewart - they lived most of their married life in Fort Lauderdale, and daughter - Darlene Smith LePach. Mary is survived by 2 children, Michael W Smith of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Pamela Joy Wolfe of Atlanta, GA. She has 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Mary was a member of FBC Fort Lauderdale, and for the past 15yrs, 1027church, Atlanta, GA. There was never a doubt she loved Jesus, people, her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. You would often find her in the kitchen cooking for her grandchildren, making a meal for about a hundred students on a mission trip, her church family, college students, soccer or football teams. Mary's testimony: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7. Memorial Service in Atlanta Saturday, October 15th at 2pm, at Clairmont Hills Baptist Church Chapel, Decatur, GA. Graveside Service in Fort Lauderdale to be decided.
