Elizabeth Turner Donaldson, age 89 years, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of February 8, 2010. Elizabeth suffered from congestive heart failure during the last year of her life. Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Roy J. Donaldson, Jr. who died in 1991 and is survived by her three sons: Bill, Kenny and Ron Donaldson, her grandchildren: Ginger Spreen, Billy, Ken Jr., Alan and Shannon Donaldson and her great grandchildren: Brooke and Robyn Spreen, Sydney and Hannah Donaldson, Makenzie and Kade Donaldson. Throughout her life she was faithfully devoted to her husband, her family and her church, Elizabeth was one of the founding members of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church in Decatur, GA. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033, on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11 A.M. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M until the service. A brief grave-side service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens will follow.
