She was born November 13, 1936, to Theodore, "Ted," and Estelle (Young) DeBusk in
Sylvia, TN. She graduated from Charlotte High School in 1954. On June 26, 1955, she
married George Alexander Russell Jr, and they spent almost 60 years together in
Dickson, TN and Tucker, GA. She spent the last 40 years of her life as an active
member of the Church in Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alexander Russell Jr., father,
Theodore DuBusk, mother, Estelle DeBusk; three sisters, Dolores Aileen Winstead,
Helen Laverne Huggins, and Shirley Annette Hampton.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Fuller (Robert) of Douglasville, GA,

Mary was a humble servant to Christ, showing compassion to all who came into her
presence. She greeted and blessed all who entered her open door with her motto:
"Living by faith, trusting in God." Mary spent most of her time as a homemaker: creating
delicious homemade pies, cakes, and wonderful meals until every mouth was filled and
heart content. When you were in Mary's presence, you were "home." She gave her life
to learning how to live Christlike and sharing her faith in Jesus with everyone she met.
