Mary Elizabeth Yarbrough Daniel, 78, of Chamblee, passed away on January 1, 2011. She was born November 28, 1932, in Edison, Georgia. Her parents were Clifford Jolly and Ethel Aurelia Rehberg Yarbrough. She graduated from Edison High School and Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, with a degree in home economics. From 1954 to 1958 she taught home economics at Villa Rica (Georgia) High School. Mrs. Daniel was a long-time member of Briarcliff Baptist church in Atlanta, where, for many years she taught youth and adult Sunday School classes and served as a church clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Jolly Yarbrough, Jr; and sister, Frances (Kikki) Lowe. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Tallapoosa, GA. Mrs. Daniel's remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service and at Pine Grove Baptist Church from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the interment.
