Mary Ellen Sparks Erbaugh

Mary Ellen Sparks Erbaugh was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, in 1941. She passed away at her home in Decatur, Georgia, last Thursday, March 3, 2011. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Susan Erbaugh from Tampa, Florida, her daughter and son-in-law, Suellen and Mark Moody from Roswell, Georgia, and three loving grandchildren, Jake, Kirsten and Garrett Moody. She is also survived by her sister, Karen Doddridge, from Winter Park, Florida. After spending many years of her adult life in Tampa, Florida, Ms. Sparks Erbaugh moved to Georgia in the mid-90s. In 2010, she retired from the Emory University Hospital where she worked as a Research Project Coordinator. The family will be celebrating her life with a memorial service on Saturday, March 12th, at 11AM at the Chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home located at: 2773 North Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to either the America Diabetes Association or The Theater in the Square in Marietta, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at A. S. Turner & Sons
