Mary Emma Harris

Mary Emma Nash Harris, 95, of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Atlanta passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013. She was a member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Atlanta since 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Harris; son, Joel Wesley Harris; mother, Ellen Duncan Nash; brother, C.R. Nash; sister, LaNelle Wayland and great granddaughter, Angelique R. Ogle. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Tom and Dianne Harris of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law Judy and Ed Ogle of Jackson, TN, daughter-in-law June Harris of FL; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; nephew and wife, Stanley and Teresa Wayland of Marietta and other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday May 14th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Rusty Couch officiating, with interment to follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday May 13th from 2:00-4:00 PM and 6:00-8:00 PM at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
