Mary Evelyn Chandler

Mary Evelyn Chandler, 71 of Lilburn, Georgia passed away on July 10, 2015. Mary was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 14, 1944 to Mildred and Billups Hunt. She attended Druid Hills High School and graduated in the first class of X-ray Technology from Dekalb General Hospital.

Mary worked as an x-ray technician/medical secretary for Emory Clinic at Emory University Hospital and enjoyed the North Carolina mountains, her ipad, spending time with friends and family. Mary was also a proud member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church. Mary is survived by her husband Robert K Chandler, Sr., her son Robert K. Chandler, Jr., her daughter Kimberly H. Burel, her granddaughters Brooke Filipiak and Abby Burel, and her sister Jo Anne Baughman and was predeceased by her parents Billups and Mildred Hunt.

Memorial services will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons in Decatur, Georgia on July 14, 2015 at 11:00 am. A viewing will be held on July 13, 2015 from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's name to the American Cancer Society.
