Mary Jo Ledbetter

Mary Jo Ledbetter, 88, passed away on February 16, 2023 in Decatur, Ga.

Mary Jo Ledbetter was born on June 17, 1934 in Rome, Ga. to Leonard Austin and Ruth Austin. She worked as a production manager at Circle Partition for many years.

Mary Jo Married James Ledbetter on October 17, 1953. The couple had 2 children, Debbie Hardy of Decatur, GA. and Jim Ledbetter of Winder, Ga. Mary Jo loved reading, cooking, gardening, and spending time with family.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Debbie Hardy; son, Jim Ledbetter; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary Jo is preceded in death by her husband, James Ledbetter; father, Leonard Austin; and Mother, Ruth Austin.

Visitation will be on Sunday February 19, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at A.S. Turner & Sons. Burial The service for Mary Jo Ledbetter will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11AM at A.S. Turner & Sons. Burial will follow the service at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, GA.
