Mrs. Mary Leslie Beavers of Oxford died Monday, May 10, 2010. A graduate of nursing school, Mrs. Beavers was a registered nurse for many years in Atlanta. She worked for Grady Hospital and the Infirmary at Georgia Tech. Mrs. Beavers is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Kathleen Beavers of Oxford, Inman and Trudy Beavers of Hampton, Dean Beavers of Stone Mountain; daughter, Jane Hubble of Stone Mountain; sister, Eunice Price of Georgetown, SC; brothers, Charles Brazell of Kingsland, GA, W. L. Brazell of Georgetown, SC; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 15, with Rev. Jim Gant officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 14, at A. S. Turner & Sons.
