Mary P. (Mimi) Geiger

Mrs. Mary P. Geiger died Saturday, September 24, 2005, at Portsbridge Hospice.  She was born on July 9, 1925 in Cleveland, Tennessee.  She was affectionately called "Mimi" by her grandchildren.  Her passion was reading, and she always loved a good novel.  She was outspoken on her views, and loved to talk politics and discuss the Braves.  A devoted wife and mother, she was predeceased by her husband, George Joseph Geiger, Jr.  She is survived by her two sons, George Michael "Mike" Geiger and his wife Debra, Patrick Lee "Pat" Geiger; and three grandchildren, Alaina Lee "Lainy" Geiger, Kevin Michael Geiger, and Kimberly Anne Geiger.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Red Cross at P. O. Box 37243, Washington D.C.  20013.  Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2005.  Rev. Nancy Folsom will officiate.  The family will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at A. S. Turner & Sons.
