Mary Rena Martino

Mary Cox Martino, 91, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012. Mary was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stella Royce Cox and Roy Earl Cox, her sister, Carolyn Mae Cox, and her husband, Leonard Henry Martino. She is survived by her son, Roy Martino, MD (Sue) and her beloved grand- daughters, Sarah Martino Dingivan (James) and Laura Martino Morison (Michael). Mary's two devoted friends, Mary Volentine and Eunice Adkins, meant so much to her. She lived much of her life in Atlanta before moving to Mobile in 1994 to be near Roy. Mary was very active in the business that she and her husband built, owning and operating McDonald's franchises first in Chicago and later in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Mobile (www.rmhcmobile.org ) at 1626 Springhill Avenue Mobile, AL 36604. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:45pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
