Mary Taylor

Mary Paul Folsom Taylor, age 83, of Tucker, GA, passed away June 14, 2008. She was born in Quitman, GA, and is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Taylor, and her son, David Taylor. Mary was an active member of the Embry Hills United Methodist Church where she served as past president of the UMW and the United Methodist Children's Home Auxiliary. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. Mary is survived by her brother, Ralph Folsom of Muncie, IN, and her sons, Thomas "Buz" of Tucker, Bob and wife Linda of Lilburn, and Gary and wife Shelley of Lawrenceville. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shelby and husband Jon Cuban, Jeff and wife Susan Taylor, Kelly and husband Chris Schmidt, Patricia Taylor, Heather and husband Cary Strange, and Heath and wife Amber Haynes. She was affectionately called "GG" by her great grandchildren, Clark, Vivienne, Zoe, Hannah, Ashley and Alton. The funeral service will be Wednesday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Embry Hills United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the United Methodist Children's Home, 500 S. Columbia Drive. Decatur, GA 30030. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 17, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at A. S. Turner and Sons in Decatur.
