Maureen Alice Mcgeehan

Maureen O'Malley McGeehan, 93, of Decatur, passed away on June 30, 2016. Born May 16, 1923, in Wilkes Barre, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Patrick O'Malley and Margaret Loretta O'Malley. Maureen was a teacher for more than 20 years and enjoyed reading, poetry, and spending time with her dogs.

Maureen is survived by her two sons, Patrick McGeehan and his wife, Becky, and Kevin McGeehan and his wife, Joann; grandsons Zack and Molly; and many more loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, Maureen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward McGeehan.

Pursuant to Maureen's wishes, her ashes will be spread at a private ceremony Harvey's Lake in Pennsylvania, where she spent time as a child.
