Maxine Young Bragg

Maxine Young Bragg passed away at 10:15 PM on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at the age of 93. Mrs. Bragg was born in Greentop, MO in 1911 where she grew up. She attended college in Kirksville, MO where she met and married Dr. Thomas T. Bragg. They moved to Atlanta and then to Decatur, GA where they lived most of their 63 years together, along with raising three sons. They retired to Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Bragg outlived her husband by 13 years. She is survived by her loving sons, John Thomas Bragg and wife Linda, Charles ?Phillip? Bragg, ?Tim? Thomas Theron Bragg and wife Susan. She also leaves behind sister, Maridale Roberts of Fort Worth, TX; niece, Harriett English; nephew, Larry Roberts; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; great nephews; and numerous friends. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. Hugh Pope officiating. Interment Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
