Melinda Padgett Feathers

Mrs. Melinda Padgett Feathers, 42, of Decatur died Thursday, January 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Craig Padgett; brother, Russell Frank Padgett; nephews, Cristofer Michael Padgett, and Jarrett Glenn Jefferson. She is survived by her husband, Royal Feathers; daughter, Lindsay Paige Hulsey; step daughters, Ashley Feathers, Leslee Feathers Matson, Emily Feathers and Kellie Feathers; mother, Marion P. Padgett; sister, Melissa Padgett Jefferson; brothers, Michael F. Padgett, William "Billie" Padgett and James "Lee" Padgett; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, January 28th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons, Rev. Matt Wilmington officiating. Interment at Westview Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the Shiner's Children's Fund. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
