Michael Allen Tertichny

Michael A. Tertichny passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Michael spent much of his life traveling and living all over the United States, including Missouri, Iowa, Louisiana, Washington State, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey, Florida, Washington, D.C., the territory of Guam, and finally, Georgia. Along the way, he met many wonderful people and positively impacted many lives. A beloved father, an Orthodox Christian, an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and a cherished choir member, Michael always helped others when he could. While in St. Louis, Michael passionately contributed to the efforts of Focus Gateway City. Michael’s memory lives on in his three children and their spouses: Alexander (wife: Alissa), Gregory (wife: Melissa), and Suzanna (husband: Daniel).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at 2:00 PM at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church (2045 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307).  Interment will be in St. Michael Garden Orthodox Christian Cemetery (located within North Atlanta Memorial Park at 5188 Winters Chapel Rd, Atlanta, GA 30360).
