Michael David Farnham

Michael David Farnham, 26, of Atlanta passed away at his home on March 30, 2015. He was a 2006 graduate of Druid Hills High School where he played football. He attended Jacksonville State University. He was a chef and his passion in life was cooking for his friends and family. Michael will be remembered as a loyal friend and loving son and brother He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jennifer Wheeler Pharris and Doug Pharris; father and step-mother, David J. Farnham and Carmen Farnham; sisters, Melanie Farnham, Sarah Farnham Brangwynne, Brandi Hanby, Gracie Pharris, Melissa Akins, Jesse Pharris, Catherine Farnham, Mary Farnham and Rebekah Farnham; brothers, Daniel Farnham, Christopher Farnham and Nicholas Farnham. He is also survived by his grandparents, Bobby and Nancy Wheeler of Foley, AL and Russell and Patricia Farnham of Manchester, NH. Additional survivors include his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Egypt Orthodox Church in Roswell. Interment will follow at Monastery of the Glorious Ascension in Resaca, Georgia. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to PAWS Atlanta or your favorite animal rescue charity. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Decatur.
