Mildred Nolan Vickery Cimerro, 99, of Decatur, passed away on May 24, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Lee Vickery, in 1938 and by her second husband, Charles Pascal Cimerro, in 1959. She is survived by her daughter Virginia Vickery Jory, her stepson Charles E. Cimerro (wife Ola Mae), granddaughter Victoria Jory LeCroy (husband John), grandson Philip Douglas Jory, Jr. (wife Ginger), step grandchildren Carolyn Cimerro and Mark Cimerro (wife Lisa), great-grandchildren Michelle Novotni (husband Duane), Andrew LeCroy, Katherine Jory, and Sarah Jory, and step great-grandchildren Lori Cimerro and John Flanagan. She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cimerro was an artist at heart and in actuality. She painted beautiful landscapes in water color and acrylics. She also enjoyed painting flowers and birds. She worked as a jewelry designer for Kinard Jewelers in Orlando, FL and for Claude S Bennett in Atlanta. She had an appreciation for fashion and was always stylishly dressed. She loved to travel, counting some 15 trips to Europe and one to Africa among her excursions. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2014 and Tuesday, May 27 from noon until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of AS Turner and Sons on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs.
