Mildred R. Harrison

Mildred Rudolph Harrison, age 82, died Monday, September 24, 2007 of complications from Parkinson's Disease. She was born in Lebanon, KY, daughter of Dr. Keener L. Rudolph, a Methodist minister. She spent most of her life in Atlanta, GA as a devoted wife for 59 years. She was a loving mother, a skilled seamstress, homemaker and a dedicated follower of her Lord and Savior. She was a member of San Antonio Community Church in San Antonio, Florida and a former member of Briarlake Baptist Church, Decatur, GA. Surviving are her husband, Bob Harrison; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Lynne Harrison; and daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Chuck Taylor. She also has 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26th, Pastor Chuck Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, 1374 Manchester Dr., Conyers, GA 30012, c/o Memorial Fund. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
