Mrs. Millie C. Farrin of Stone Mountain died on Thursday, May 20, 2010. She was 85 years old. Mrs. Farrin, the daughter of the late John Raymond Craft and Alva Anderson Craft, was born in Oglethorpe County and educated in the public schools there. She attended Georgia State University and earned a Brokers license in Real Estate. Mrs. Farrin served as President of the Allgood Garden Club from 1960-1961 and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her hobbies were painting and traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael D. Farrin. Mrs. Farrin is survived by her son and daughter and their spouses, Mike and Gwen Farrin of Lexington, Kathy and Robert Bryant of Stone Mountain; 6 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 22. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, May 21st at A. S. Turner & Sons.
