Milton Alexander Watson

Milton Alexander Watson, of Decatur died December 20, 2011 at the age of 100. Mr. Watson was born on August 4, 1911 in Edgefield County, South Carolina.
Following his retirement from Carter – Wallis Pharmaceutical, Mr. Watson enjoyed traveling with his Sunday School class from Glenn Memorial Methodist Church. In addition to being very active in his church he was an active member of the Kiwanis Club and was instrumental in organizing Life Enrichment Services. He served others by delivering Meals On Wheels well into his late 80's.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years Virginia Walker Watson, one daughter Harriett Gravely ofGreenville, SC, two sons and spouses Alex Watson (Ruth M. Deloor) of Atlanta and Dr. Bill Watson (Tish) of Temple, GA, 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, December 23, 2011 in the Chapel of A.S. Turner Funeral Home. Internment will follow in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at A.S.Turner and Sons, Decatur.
