Mr. Milton C. Foster, 77, passed away Tuesday morning, July 12, 2005. He was born on March 6, 1928 in Atlanta, GA. He was a faithful member and deacon of Peachtree Baptist Church since joining in 1942. He graduated from Druid Hills High School and after graduation from high school, he served in the United States Navy for a number of years. Mr. Foster graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology. He started MCF Homes, Inc. and has been building homes for fifty years. His achievements include his involvement in the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association since 1955; serving as the DeKalb area president, 1965; Atlanta president, 1968-69? State, 1979; named Builder of the Year, DeKalb, 1967 and metro, 1970; served on the national board, 1979. He also had a Symphony Showcase House in the 1970?s. In addition to being an accomplished builder and land developer, he was also a Shriner and a Mason. Milton is survived by his wife Betty. He has one sister and brother-in-law, Richard and Norma (Foster) LeClerc and their three children; and one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Sam and Pat Ware of Marietta and their two children. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 15th at Peachtree Baptist Church with the Rev. J. LeAnn Gunter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peachtree Baptist Church Memorial Fund or Organ Fund, 2108 Briarcliff Rd., N.E., Atlanta, GA 30329.
