Milton Edward Wright, Jr., age 89, passed away June 9, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie McAlexander Wright; his children: Faye and Jerry Hardiman, Kenneth and Lori Wright, and Robert and LeeAnna Wright; 8 grandchildren: Nathan Hardiman, Rebecca Albertus, Abby Bender, Hannah Vest, Sam Wright, Dena Hufman, Hailey Wright, and Kirstin Wright; and 10 great-grandchildren: Jacob, Jessica and Emma Hardiman, Joshua, Kate, Andrew and Elizabeth Albertus, Luke and Trent Bender, and Nolan Vest. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Wright was a long-time member of the Vultee Church of Christ, and he worked in the printing and paper business in Nashville for 42 years, retiring from Athens Paper Co. in 1987. He served with the U.S. Army Air Force Air Transport Command in the China-Burma-India Theater during World War II. Visitation and funeral service will be at A.S. Turner Funeral Home in Atlanta Friday, June 10, 2011 from 9 until 10 am. A graveside service and burial will be at the Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, GA 30114 Friday, June 10, 2011 at 12 Noon. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers . In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, 410 Allied Drive, Nashville, TN 37211. The family would like to thank the Fountainview Center and VistaCare Hospice at Emory in Atlanta, Georgia for their loving care of Mr. Wright.
