Minnie Mae Wray

December 17, 1919 — February 22, 2005

Mrs. Minnie Mae Wray of Atlanta died Tuesday, February 22, 2005. She was a member of Druid Hills United Methodist Church, Quillian Sunday School class, and the Decatur Lioness club. She was the beloved wife of George C. Wray, Sr., mother and homemaker. Mrs. Wray worked with handicapped children. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, George and Trudy Wray of Sharpsburg, Jim and Barbara Wray of Snellville, Ronald and Wanda Wray of Lilburn, David and Ruth Wray of Monroe; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Tommy Papadeas of Marietta; one surviving sister, Bee Tate of Eatonton, GA; 16 grandchildren; and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Friday, February 25th, Rev. Jim Crutchfield officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
