Mona Samora Dalbo

Mona Samaria Dalbo, 84, of Atlanta, formerly of DeLand, FL, died January 12, 2012. She was born in Ovieda, FL, the daughter of the late Emil and Ruth Dalbo. She attended Stetson University in DeLand for two years before taking a job with the Volusia County Commissioners. She and her sister Johanne moved to Atlanta in 1965 where she worked for Glaxo-Smithkline Co. until her retirement. She is survived by her sisters, Johanne Dalbo of Atlanta; Priscilla Reynolds of Tampa, FL; sister-in-law, Lorraine Dalbo of Atlanta; nephew, David E. Dalbo (Diane) of Atlanta; niece, Deborah D. Terry (Rob) of Duluth; great niece, Ansley Dalbo (Fred) of Atlanta; great niece, Raegan Dalbo (John) of Winston Salem, NC; great nephew, Austin Dalbo of Atlanta; and great, great nephew, Ty Senior of Winston Salem, NC. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 2 pm in the chapel of Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
