Montine Jenkins Kramer

Mrs. Montine Jenkins Kramer, 88, of Decatur, died on Monday, November 21, 2011. She was born in Luxomni, Georgia, to Hattie Bell Juhan and William Jackson Jenkins. Montine retired from Southern Bell as a telephone operator and was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Avondale Estates. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William Kramer, and a daughter, Jerrie Wright. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Judy Kramer; daughter, Patsy Lowry; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Richard Carney; son-in-law, J. Kent Wright, grandchildren, Kim, Michael, Heidi, Helen, Ken, Alan, and Andrew; great grandchildren; Taylor, Wil, and Lucy. The funeral service for Mrs. Kramer will be held 1PM, Friday, November 25, 2011, in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons with Pastor Richard Carney officiating. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Avondale Estates General Fund, 47 Covington Rd, Avondale Estates GA 30002 or to Advantage Hospice, STE 505, 4330 Georgetown Square, Atlanta GA 30338.
