Mozelle Niebruegge

Mozelle Owensby Niebruegge, age 92, went to be with her Lord on September 20, 2004. She had been an active member of Druid Hills Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and in later years as pianist for her Bible Study Class and other areas of the church. She was also a school teacher and was retired from Decatur Federal Savings Bank where she worked for many years. She was married to Harry H. Niebruegge, Sr. for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, Thomas Ernest Owensby and Hattie Lester Owensby of Franklin, GA, Heard County, and her brother, Solon Owensby of  Franklin, GA. She is survived by two sisters, Eloise Dennis of Talladega, AL and Mary Jean Banks of Carrollton, GA; a sister-in-law, Doris Owensby of Franklin, GA; a nephew, Brian Owensby, his wife Luanne and their children Andrew and Anna of Franklin, GA; her stepson, Harry H. Niebruegge, Jr., his wife Jean, granddaughter, Diane Niebruegge of Stone Mountain, GA; grandson, Don Niebruegge, his wife Sara and great grandsons, Kevin and Michael Niebruegge of Lawrenceville, GA; and several other nephews in metro Atlanta. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 24th at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, Dr. Harold Zwald officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 23rd at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.
