Mr. Frank V. Ashbaugh

Mr. Frank Ashbaugh of Covington died Sunday, August 14, 2005.  He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War serving with the Marine Corps and participated in action against the enemy at Guadalcanal. Mr. Ashbaugh was the retired director of Communications for Grady Hospital and was a Mason and a Shriner. He is survived by his children, David and Georgia Ashbaugh of Decatur, GA, Frankie and Richard Wright of Hilton Head, SC, Teresa Lowe of Beaufort, SC, and Mary Sowell of Rocky Ford, GA; brother, John Ashbaugh of Fayetteville, AR; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.  The family will have a private graveside service at Beaufort National Cemetery at a later date.
