Mrs. Eleanor Bean Hereford

Mrs. Eleanor B. Hereford of Decatur died Tuesday, July 19, 2005. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Her father, Louis Vimont Bean, was the City Manager of Decatur for over 20 years. She is survived by her daughter, Dee Lee and husband Dickey of Brentwood, TN; sons, Robert M. Hereford and wife Pam of Snellville, Thomas R. Hereford and wife Bonnie of Smyrna; sister, Nancy Bean Layton of Jacksonville, FL; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hereford was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Vimont and Isabelle Bean, and her brother, L. V. Bean, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21st at Decatur Cemetery, Rev. Anne Maxwell officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Hospice Atlanta Center, 1244 Park Vista Dr., Atlanta, GA 30319. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
