Muriel Holly Johnson

Muriel H. "Droopy" Johnson, age 93, died Friday, December 16, 2011. Her nickname, Droopy, was bestowed upon her by her brother, Richard Johnson Sr. because of her droopy drawers. She was the beloved aunt and second mother to her survivors which include her nieces, Janie Wagner and her husband, Martin, and Barbara Malone; nephews, Richard H. Johnson, Jr., Michael A. Johnson, Douglas Q. Johnson and his wife, Tamara, and Gary A. Johnson; and great nieces and nephews, Colt and Chase Johnson and Lauren, Catherine and Julie Malone. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 PM Sunday and 6 to 8 PM Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
