Myra Boyer Aikens

Myra Boyer Aikens died January 21, 2014. She was born August 15, 1917 in St. Augustine, Florida to Georgia and Mirabeau H. Boyer. She spent most of her life in the Atlanta, GA area. She is survived by a daughter, Wynelle Reynolds of Lexington SC, sons Charles H. Aikens, III of Knoxville, TN, Larry G. Aikens of Dandridge, TN and Wesley A. Aikens of Snellville, GA, 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Charles H. Aikens, Jr, daughter Myra Sue Aikens, sisters Thelma Boyer and Edna Honea, brothers R. Alvin Boyer and Carl F. Boyer. Her life was spent caring for her family. She dearly loved each and every one. She was a long time member of Avondale Pattillo United Methodist Church and long time resident of Avondale Estates, GA. Funeral services will 1:00 pm Saturday, January 25, 2014 from the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home With Rev. Dave Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
