Myrtice Lee Herndon Witcher, 99, passed away on February 19, 2012. She was born May 14, 1912 in Alvaton, GA. After she graduated from Commercial High School in Atlanta, she married Lamar B. Witcher. They were married for 55 years until his death in 1991.She was a faithful member of Atlanta First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Debbie Witcher of Maryville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Wallace Colly of Norcross, GA; daughter-in-law, Ellen Hicks of Marietta, GA, widow of the late Thomas H. Witcher (son); six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM at Eternal Hills Cemetery in Snellville, GA. Visitation with family and friends will be from 9 AM to 10:30 AM at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033.
