Myrtle Cooper

Myrtle Rea Bowlin Sanders Cooper was born in Foote, MS on October 27, 1940. She was the daughter of the loving parents Horteense Moore Bowlin Fergerson and Ben Bowlin, Jr. Myrtle died at the William Breamen Jewish Home in Atlanta, GA on April 13, 2025, at the age of 84. She is the widow of Alton Wayne Cooper who died on May 27, 2022, in Tylertown, MS. Myrtle and Wayne are survived by their son, Walter Allen Sanders, Jr. (Buddy) of Sandy Springs, GA. Both Myrtle and Wayne will return to the place of their birth, where they fell in love, the Mississippi Delta. Please join the family as they honor Myrtle's and Wayne's life at a grave side celebration of life ceremony at the historic County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS, 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 7, 2025. Please no flowers, just come with your favorite memories and you are asked to wear clothing as bright as their lives.
