Myrtle Owens

Myrtle T. "Bill" Owens, age 79, of Eatonton, formerly of Tucker, died Sunday, March 20, 2005.  Mrs. Owens was a native of Highlands, NC.  A devoted wife and loving mother, she was a member of Forrest Hills Baptist Church for 43 years.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jabe Talley.  She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Diane & Tom Corbin of Powder Springs, GA and Betty & Mike Moseley of Covington, GA; sisters, Grace T. Lankford of Eatonton, GA and Jessie Talley of Melrose, FL; brothers, Ed Talley of Highlands, NC, Fred Talley of Ball Ground, GA and Leon Talley of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Chris Corbin, Rebecca Corbin, Blake Corbin, Kylie Corbin, Molly Moseley and Katie Moseley; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Forrest Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Rock Dearfield officiating.  Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to the building fund of Forrest Hills Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at A. S. Turner and Sons.
