Nancy Plummer McElroy, of Decatur, a native of Stone Mountain and formerly of Amelia Island died January 6, 2006.  She was a loving wonderful mother and wife, and was known to everyone as Mama Mac.  Nancy McElroy was an avid reader and an excellent student. She is preceded in death by her mother, Odell Plummer, father Herbert Plummer and sister, Polly Mize.  She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Charles H. McElroy; sons, Jack McElroy, his wife Ann and children, Shelby Schwartz and Madison McElroy of Orlando, FL, Chris McElroy, his wife Kerry and daughter, Lexie Battle of Clemson, SC, Jon McElroy and his wife Heather of Athens, GA; daughter, Lauren Cunningham, her husband John and children, Josh, Cassie, and Jonathon Cunningham of Watkinsville, GA; sisters, Bonnie Morrison and Janie Pilgrim, both of Stone Mountain, GA; brother, Bud Hay of Loganville, GA.; and special son, Paul Anzalone.  She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Dr. J. Hoffman Harris will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
