Nona Early Randall

September 6, 1911 — September 2, 2005

Mrs. Nona Early Randall, a native of Roswell, GA died Friday, September 2, 2005. She was a graduate of the Bell-Carroll School of Music with further study from the St. Louis Institute of Music. In the early days, she had a weekly radio program on WSB. She was an active piano teacher and served as President of the Decatur Music Teachers Association and the Georgia Music Teachers Association. Mrs. Randall was an active member of the Decatur First United Methodist Church for 45 years. She was also a member and pianist for the Paty Sunday School Class for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Raphael Beauvais Randall. Mrs. Randall is survived by her sons, Dr. R. Beauvais Randall, Jr. of Decatur, John S. Randall and his wife Linda Harris of Decatur; four grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth Randall; Jodi Florence, Robyn Florence, John Florence and his wife Jeanette. A private graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 6th at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Dr. David Naglee will officiate. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to the Methodist Children's Home, 500 Columbia Dr., Decatur, GA 30030, or the Paty Class of the Decatur First United Methodist Church, 300 East Ponce de Leon Ave., Decatur, GA 30030. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
