Mrs. Noreen Williams Green, of Decatur, GA passed away peacefully on May 11, 2010, after a full life of 90 years. She was born on February 22, 1920 in Ft. Covington, NY. She was married to Richard Paul Green who preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy Green Baesel and Airlie Green; grandchildren, Wesley Aycock, Stuart Baesel, III, Emily Evens, Joss Benton, and six great grandchildren. Her loved ones also include two sisters, Olita Armstrong of Dundee, Quebec, Dorothy Keeler of Ft. Covington, NY and a brother, Elton Cappiello, also of Ft. Covington, NY. Her life was enriched by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Green taught English for over 30 years and touched the lives of many students at Druid Hills High School. She was a worldwide traveler and life long student. Noreen and her husband were founding members and lifelong attendees of St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, where she was active on many committees. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with The Rev. Mac Thigpen officiating. Her family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons
