Norma "Buddy" Thomas

Norma "Buddy" Thomas, 86, a longtime resident of Atlanta died Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was a member of North Decatur United Methodist Church and most recently Embry Hills United Methodist Church. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Lynn Willis Applebee. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Martha Willis and Joe Burgess; son-in-law, Charles Frances Applebee, Jr.; grandchildren, Zachary Willis Burgess, Kirby Willis Burgess, Kimberly Applebee AsKew, Charles Frances Applebee, III, David Willis Applebee; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Jessi, Jonathan, Katherine, Jackson, Nicolas, Benjamin; brother and sister-in-law, John Earl McCabe, Jr. and Evelyn McCabe; nieces, nephews; and cousin, Alice Titshaw. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 27th at 10:30AM at A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment Westview Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 at A. S.
