Norma Lucile (Leveritt) Chase , age 85, of Atlanta, Georgia died Wednesday April 18, 2012 in Walton Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 18, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia to John Aaron and Lucile (Williams) Leveritt and they preceded her in death.
She was career oriented and had worked for the Office of General Counsel for over 40 years and retired as a Paralegal. Norma had various leadership roles with Pilots International and served as a Past President of the Atlanta Chapter. She was an accomplished pianist. She was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church of Atlanta where she had played both the organ and piano for over 20 years.
Surviving are 3 sons; Clifford D. "Curly" Chase, Loganville, Ronnie W. Chase, Cartersville, Danny C. Chase, Duluth, a daughter; Jeanne Mullins, Duluth, 1 sister; Eleanor Neese, 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded by a Grandson, Travis Chase in 1994 and a Sister, Anne Hite.
The family will receive friends on Saturday April 21, from 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons. Interment will follow in North Atlanta Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
