Norman Walter Axnick

Mr. Norman Walter Axnick, 78 of Decatur, died Thursday, July 7, 2011. Mr. Axnick had a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and was employed by the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Caroline Axnick; his son, Ron Axnick; his daughter-in-law, Tracey Axnick; his grandchildren, Jordan and Shelbie Axnick; as well as his brothers, Walter Axnick and Larry Axnick. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 13th at 3:00 PM in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. In lieu of flowers, well wishers are asked to donate to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 56566, Atlanta, GA 30343.
